"Quarter-Peeled Oranges" Book Signing and Wine Tasting

“Quarter-Peeled Oranges” is a book of poems written by Marietta neurologist Bruce Gillett as a tribute to his wife, Dale Gillett, who lost her 17 year battle with breast cancer. The book began as grief writing and evolved into a poetic love story. Quarter-Peeled Oranges includes illustrations by Bill Needs, a vocational rehabilitation counselor.

Both Gillett and Needs will be at the Marietta Wine Market to sign copies of the newly released book during the market’s weekly wine tasting. A $10 charity donation is suggested to participate in the tasting. All proceeds from the book sales and wine tasting will benefit the Greater Atlanta Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
