The Princess Bride (PG). Friday, May 20, 8 p.m. A beloved tale of adventure, revenge, and true love, this 1987 movie is a fan favorite. With unforgettable characters such as Wesley the cunning hero (Cary Elwes), Buttercup the beautiful princess (Robin Wright), and Inigo Montoya the master swordsman (Mandy Patinkin), The Princess Bride is a movie for adults and children alike to enjoy. A story within a story, the adventures of Wesley and Buttercup bring together a young boy and his grandfather in the modern day. Live organ pops variety show and sing-along featuring The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for children, students, and seniors.
