Families, children and adults of all ages will beam with delight as The World’s Largest Shrine Circus & Midway Carnival pull into town this spring.  With more than 22 performances over 10 days, circus goers can enjoy circus acts from around the world including: high-flying trapeze acts, aerials and acrobats, show horses, elephants, bears, daredevil acts, thrilling carnival rides and, of course, world-famous Shriner clowns and more as the 70th anniversary celebration of The World’s Largest Shrine Circus kicks off at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta on Friday, April 27 – Sunday, May 6, 2012.

The World’s Largest Shrine Circus is a popular annual family event that offers an affordable, safe and wholesome environment for adults and children of all ages. In addition to 24, 90-minute circus performances over 10 days, more than 40 exciting carnival rides and attractions and lots of favorite foods like funnel cakes, cotton candy, fried Oreos, snow cones, elephant ears, hot dogs, candy apples, fluffy fries, burgers, pizza, are sure to add to the fun and thrill of it all.   And new this year is the ‘Fun Zone’ a fun-filled arcade and entertainment area in Building A presented by Phoenix Entertainment.

For more than 70 years, Yaarab Shriners of Atlanta have delighted all ages with Shrine Circus acts.  Since the 1800’s, Shriners around the globe have been committed to providing attractive, quality programs and services in a spirit of fun, fellowship and social camaraderie.  Coupled with a philanthropic commitment and a calling to care for the less fortunate, especially children who suffer from burns and crippling diseases, that commitment has culminated in the Shriners’ largest fundraiser – the Shrine Circus.
