Book Signings, College Fair, Sing-Along

This weekend in Marietta you can attend a book signing, sing along with "Grease" at the Strand, take in an art show or go to a college fair.

1. Ann Hite novel, Ghost on Black Mountain, published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, on Saturday at 2 p.m. Come out to , 50 Barrett Pkwy., and tell her your ghost story.

2. David and Linda Puffer along with Donna and Paul Yokubinas are hosting an of Marietta—The Gem City of Georgia at their shop on Roswell Road on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m.

3. with Grease at the Saturday.

Live organ pops variety show and sing-along featuring the Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for children, students and seniors.

4. presents its annual on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. More than 50 colleges and universities are confirmed.

There will be representation from technical colleges, junior colleges, historically black colleges and universities, and majority colleges in attendance. This event is open to everyone in the community.

5. Jamaican-born Atlanta artist pays tribute to the people, places and experiences that have informed and inspired her art over 10 years of art-making in a solo exhibition of her recent paintings.
