Gone With the Wind Goes West: Scarlett, Melanie and Doc Holliday

Author and Doc Holliday expert Victoria Wilcox will present “Gone With the Wind Goes West: Scarlett, Melanie and Doc Holliday” at the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum on Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m.

Following the talk, Wilcox will be signing copies of Inheritance, her first book in the historical fiction trilogy, Southern Son: The Saga of Doc Holliday. The book was internationally released by Knox Robinson Publishing of London and New York on May 8.

Although the name Doc Holliday conjures images of the Wild West and the shootout at the OK Corral, before he was a Western legend he was a Southern son, born in Georgia in the last days of the Old South with family links to the author of Gone With the Wind.
