Hundreds Celebrate Juneteenth at Glover Park

There was something for everyone as the Cobb County Chapter of the NAACP celebrated Juneteenth at Glover Park at Marietta Square.

The Cobb County chapter of the NAACP celebrated its eighth annual Juneteenth at Glover Park at Marietta Square, marking the belated announcement of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation ending slavery. Many vendors were on hand to join in the celebration. There was food, arts and crafts, clothing as well as several musical and theatrical artists to celebrate Juneteenth.
