Marietta Line Dance Team Two-Steps to First Place

The Marietta country line dancing team beat out more than 360 teams from Texas Roadhouse restaurants across the country.

If country line dancing is your thing, then you might want to visit Texas Roadhouse in Marietta to see the nation's best. The Marietta team was recently crowned winner of the Texas Roadhouse Dancing in the Stores competition beating out more than 360 teams from Texas Roadhouse restaurants across the country.

The competition began last June when the Marietta team won their local market dance-off held at Six Flags Over Georgia. From there they went to the southwest regional competition where each store was secretly shopped by training managers and judged on in-store dancing efforts including energy, synchronization and dance style.

Sixteen semi-finalists were chosen from three regions and were again secretly judged. Four teams where chosen from this group and asked to submit a video explaining what line dancing means to them and the culture of Texas Roadhouse.
