Marietta Music Scene

Whether you enjoy acoustic style folk music, karoake or open mics, it's all available this week near Marietta. So get out and support the local music scene.

 With the metropolis of Atlanta to the south and numerous renowned musical venues peppered across the metro area, Marietta's music scene is often lost amid the din. But as any Marietta music lover knows, the local scene here remains vibrant and essential. Marietta Patch is here to help you navigate it.

 

The hosts its second Open Mic Night this Thursday. There are 20 slots per night. Each performance will be limited to a two-song or eight-minute performance. No drum kits, effects petals, or tracking allowed and group performances may not exceed four members.The Strand will provide two ¼ inch guitar cables, two XLR Mic Cables, two Shure SM58 Vocal Mics, Mic Stands, Keyboard and a PA system.

On Friday, Sydney Eloise, Pocket the Moon, Stephanie Caron will be rooftop for Brew with a View. The patio opens at 5:30pm and music starts at 6pm. This is a spectacular way to bring in the weekend and enjoy the sunset, while enjoying some acoustic style folk music.

Hamby’s Clocktower Tavern is the new place in town, delicious food, a soon to be non smoking side, local musicians and drinks specials. 18 to party 21 to drink. This Friday will be the first live band to juke the joint. The Highway Band takes the stage, come on out and party with Bob, JayDee, Mac, and Sher.

Rocco's Pub is a family friendly pub that has a special way with making chili. On deck this weekend are Rocco's Regulars-The Merci Brothers  Friday and Davis Daniels,on Saturday. Both nights the music plays from 7:00pm - 10:30pm.

Niks Place has live music 7 days a week. Open mics, amazing blues, rock and roll and acoustic jams. Delicious Greek style food, a couple of decks attached to a house that is full of history and great company. Cold beverages and musical interludes await you.

The Place Bar and Grill ,every weekend is a dance party. Get out your best party clothes and dance your way towards Monday. DJ's, karoake, performers, always an interesting mix. Yummy food and drinks.
