Marietta Music Scene- Many Marietta Musicians Bring the Noise
Lots of sounds and flavors keep things happening locally.
With the metropolis of Atlanta to the south and numerous renowned musical venues peppered across the metro area, Marietta's music scene is often lost amid the din. But as any Marietta music lover knows, the local scene here remains vibrant and essential. Marietta Patch is here to help you navigate it.
1. Wild Wing Cafe Marietta starts the weekend off on Friday with Slippery When Wet - Bon Jovi Tribute.
Saturday they host their 2nd Annual Coney Comes to Cobb Festival! Enjoy a Coney Island Festival right here in Cobb County! Cornhole, Ring-Toss, Sno-Cones and more! Have a Coney Island dog and wash it down with a Coney Island draft! Entertainment at 5:30 and 11p.m! Plus live music with the Ultimate Jimmy Buffet Tribute - A1A and late night music with Shyanne!

2. For your entertainment pleasure, Paddys Irish Eatery brings the duet powers of Crossville Station and their unique perspective of cover tunes to the stage on Friday. Saturday has Jesse's Girl rocking the joint -- this five-piece band has four sets of vocal cords that cover tunes that span more than one generation of music lovers.
Sunday Night is a Jam Night brought together by Thad (Block Party) and Fred (Jesse's Girl). Local musicians and fans will fill this place with some rock! Come on out and enjoy great food and people.

Gritty & Pink, Luna & Sol, Off Beat Hooligans, Arch Angels, Your Girl Friend, Wayward Hounds, Fun MD, Hard Livin', Sucker Punch and members of Knucklehead Rules are all set to take the stage starting at 6 p.m.
3. Marietta has a non-smoking venue to enjoy an eclectic mix of genres. The Local at Sidelines Marietta starts the weekends on Thursday nights with The Casanovas playing blues with their own rocking style. Saturday you can unleash your metal-loving beast with Accelerator, with their Straight Out Of Line, a tribute to Godsmack renditions.
4. Every Tuesday evening, hosts an open Bluegrass jam. The bakey is filled with musical people and groups who splinter off under the shade trees on the Marietta Square and play together.
This is a true hoedown in our downtown Marietta Square. Grab up the washboard, spoons, children, and Granny and come enjoy this open jam while the weather still permits.
5. Thursday evening, brings the smooth sax sounds of jazz to your ears and heart, as your taste buds enjoy their delicious $2.99 margarita special. Tuesday nights, fill the SUV with friends for some karaoke fun.
