Mark Your Calendars for 2013 Glover Park Concert Series

Starting in April concerts will be held once a month through September in Glover Park. Take a look at the lineup for the 2013 Glover Park Concert Series.

The Kurt Thomas Band will kick off the 2013 Glover Park Concert Series with their party rock and country music.

The first Glover Park Concert of the season will take place on Friday, April 26 at 8 p.m. in and around Glover Park.

The concerts are free and open to the public. Blankets and lawn chairs may be set up after 4 p.m. Personal tables are not permitted in the park but may be set up on North Park Square after 5:30 p.m.

  • April 26: Kurt Thomas Band (Party Rock and Country)
  • May 31: The Glow Band (Variety and Classic Rock)
  • June 1: GSO Jazz
  • June 28: Atlanta Pleasure Band (R & B)
  • July 26: The Grapevine (Beach Music and Oldies)
  • Aug. 23: A1A (Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band)
  • Sept. 27: Kasper and the 911 Band (Soul and Motown)

Getting Front-row Seats

  • Limited number of tables
  • $45 for tables of six
  • $55 for tables for eight
  • Tables reservations for April concert only: first-come basis, may be reserved online beginning April 1

Table, Blanket-Decorating Contest

  • Held before each concert
  • Winner takes home picnic basket full of goodies
