Night of Bluegrass, Folk at the Strand

Alan Honeycutt will deliver pop/folk music at the Friday at this week's at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Honeycutt has played shows at the Guinness World Record Breaking Event: 343 for Kids and the Relay for Life Walk, and has appeared numerous times at Land of a Thousand Hills, Starbucks and Eddie's Attic singer songwriter open mic.

The Packway Handle Band will provide a night of alternative bluegrass in the theatre at the .

The Packway Handle Band emerged from a small bluegrass scene in Athens in 2001. The band became nationally known as finalists at the Telluride Bluegrass Competition in 2002 and 2003. The band took second place in 2004.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $12.
