The event began two seasons ago when the Atlanta Lyric Theatre presented "Cinderella" at the . The event was held upstairs following performances. It was such a hit the Atlanta Lyric Theatre decided to make the tea an annual event.

"Little girls went wild over the idea of seeing a princess in person," Dianne Butler, director of marketing and community relations at Atlanta Lyric Theatre, said.

"It's evolved so organically, and it is so sweet to see little girls meet a real live princess," Butler added.

"When they come to the victorian Marlow House, which is decorated so beautifully, they are coming into a charming home and having tea, an idea from a bygone era.

"It's very rare for a tea to be such a traditional thing, and it's neat to see multiple generations come together."

Good grief, if the rifle can kill someone, why on earth would you give it to a five-year-old? ThisRead More one just boggles my mind. I hope that even the NRA has a problem with this.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
