Alorica to Recruit 90 Seasonal Workers in Cobb

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Alorica recruit about 90 seasonal workers for a call center in Kennesaw.

A recruitment of customer service representatives will be held Monday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta.

While some applicants must be able to speak both English and Spanish, others may speak English only.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) and type at least 35 words a minute. They should have a resume and are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

The salary is $9 an hour.

GDOL and company personnel will help selected applicants apply on-line at the recruitment. The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
