Bites Nearby: Cherokee Cattle Company

Sometimes the most tedious part of dining out is figuring where to dine out. Patch makes it easy every Thursday; we find great restaurants for you. This week: Cherokee Cattle Company

Overview: If you like the Marietta Diner, Marietta Fish Company or Pasta Bella Italian Restaurant, it’s a pretty sure bet you’re going to like Cherokee Cattle Company  - they share the same owners. The atmosphere is rustic/casual with a little “Old West” vibe and smells wonderfully of mesquite. Steaks are aged, hand cut and grilled over mesquite wood, which is brought all the way from Texas. Steak prices were surprisingly moderate; the signature 16 oz. Prime Rib is only $21.99. Almost as popular as their steaks are the salads. There is a huge selection to choose from and include grilled salmon, steak and chicken. Early Bird specials are only $13.99.  And last, but certainly not least: they have those wonderful desserts you see displayed at its sister restaurants -  Marietta Diner or Marietta Fish Market. See the menu below for choices and recommendations:
