The spirit of Christmas and nostalgic candy treats can be found on Marietta Square all year long. The opened Saturday at 87 Church St.
"I've always had a dream of opening my own store, but I thought it would be way in the future. But I just had this epiphany one day and said, 'This is what I want to be doing, and this is what I'm going to do,' " owner Dianne Murphy said.
Mayor Steve Tumlin was present for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The store is closed Mondays. The hours the rest of the week:
- Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
