Car Max, Employment Seeker to Recruit Workers in Cobb

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Car Max Auto Finance and Employment Seeker fill a number of jobs in Cobb County next week.

The GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta, will host a positive recruitment for Car Max on Monday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The company is recruiting about 10 employees to fill collection and customer service jobs at a call center in Kennesaw.

Applicants are encouraged to bring resumes, dress appropriately, and be prepared to interview. They are also encouraged to have at least six months of call center experience, be bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and have completed online pre-screening at www.carmaxautofinance.com/jobs prior to the event.

The salary is $11.25 per hour.

On Thursday, Sept. 27, GDOL will assist Employment Seeker, a staffing agency, with a career expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre, located at Two Galleria Parkway.
