Career Expo in Cobb Today

The expo will feature a number of employers, educational institutions and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers.

The Georgia Department of Labor will assist Diversity Hiring with a career expo in Cobb County Thursday, Nov. 8. The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre, located at Two Galleria Parkway.

The expo will feature a number of employers, educational institutions and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers.

The employers will be hiring or discussing present and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide educational and other resources.

Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings.

Among those expected to participate in the expo include: Atlanta Police Department, Charter Insurance Company, Consort Institute, DeVry University, DiversityHiringExpos.com, Excel Logistics, Inc., Georgia Army National Guard, Georgia College of Construction, HBCUcareers.com, Keller School of Management, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Primerica Financial Services, ProvNet Strategies, Prudential Life Insurance Company, Southern Polytechnic State University, The Art Institute, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Travelers Insurance Company, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, University of Phoenix, Virtuous Career Services, and West Georgia Technical College, a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia.

This is a fine example of freedom being too much to handle for some folks. The idiots who gave theRead More kid the gun should be jailed. Its obvious that a 5 year old should neither posses, nor handle a firearm period. Having said that I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment and the NRA. However we cannot measure the validity of the right to bear arms by using these idiot parents as a case study.
