Jersey Mike’s Subs will officially open its doors in Marietta on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
Franchise owners and brothers Kyle and Taylor Davis along with their father Alex Davis and brother-in-law Kirk Morris will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday to Sunday, Dec. 16 to support the Walton High School Academic Program.
The new restaurant, located at 4400 Roswell Road, will circulate 10,000 coupons throughout the community, offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Walton High School Academic Program.
Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s continued its steady growth in 2011 opening 69 new restaurants throughout the country, a 15 percent increase overall.
In 2011, locations throughout the country raised more than $2 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 200,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
“The product that we sell at Jersey Mike’s speaks for itself in terms of quality and freshness,” said Kyle Davis. “Our authentic sub sandwich, paired with excellent customer service is what really sets Jersey Mike’s apart from the crowd.
"In addition, we are committed to giving back to our customers, which is why we have partnered with Walton High School for our grand opening fundraiser. Making a difference is very important to us as business owners and we plan to uphold this tradition of giving which has always defined Jersey Mike’s as a company.”
This is the first Jersey Mike’s location for the Davises and Morris.
