Goodwill Hiring 40 for New Store

Goodwill of North Georgia will open the doors to its newest store on Jan. 12. The facility, located on Shallowford Road, will include a store and donation center.

The nonprofit will begin recruiting for 40 staff members this week.

“New store locations always present the opportunity to bring our unique shopping experience to more communities, but they also allow us to create new jobs in those communities,” said Elaine Armstrong, Goodwill’s director of public relations, in a press release.

Goodwill is hiring floor and production associates. Those interested should attend the pre-screening events held on Dec. 8, 9 and 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2401 Shallowford Rd.

Qualified candidates will be selected to return for interviews on Dec. 12 and Dec. 13.

Job seekers must be at least 18 years old and should bring valid United States-issued photo identification, their Social Security Card and a resume. Interview attire is strongly recommended. 

The store will be Goodwill’s 14th location in Cobb County.
