City leaders and representatives from the Neighborhood Cinema Group (NCG) of a multi-million dollar, at 1050 Powder Springs St.
, which includes stadium seating, 3-D and surround-sound technology, is the only cinema in the city.
It is and several full-time management positions.
Powder Springs Road Corridor Improvements
The NCG Cinema joins several other enhancements and developments, which are planned or underway in the Powder Springs Road corridor including:
- Wal-Mart 41,000-square foot Neighborhood Market, to be located across from the cinema;
- New senior center is being built near the cinema;
- Multi-use trail, which will connect area to neighborhoods and Marietta Square, is being built; and
- Streetscape enhancements including planting trees, installing lights, sidewalks, brick enhancements and landscaped medians along Powder Springs Road.
