Home Depot and UCall & IHaul to Recruit in Cobb

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Home Depot and UCall & IHaul fill a number of jobs in Cobb County next week. Both recruitments will be held at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta.

The recruitment for Home Depot is set for Thursday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The company will be recruiting for bi-lingual supervisors who are fluent in both Spanish and English.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) and have at least one year of supervisory experience. Applicants will be required to apply on-line at http://careers.homedepot.com/?HDCAREERS&view, or they may apply on-line at the recruitment.

Salaries are in the $12 an hour range, depending on experience.

The recruitment for UCall & IHaul will be held Friday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The company will be hiring movers of furniture and household goods and house cleaners.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED). They must be on-call and have a valid Class C driver’s license and their own transportation and insurance, because workers must travel to job sites to pack and unpack household goods, load and unload furniture, and clean-up designated areas. They must also be able to lift as much as 150 pounds by themselves.

Salaries range from $11-$17 an hour, depending on experience.
