Marietta Resident Appointed to VP, Human Resources of HoneyBaked Ham

HoneyBaked Appoints Michael Esposito Vice President, Human Resources New position will lead recruitment and training

The Original HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia has named Michael Esposito, of Marietta, to the newly-created position of vice president, human resources.

Most recently, Esposito was with The Home Depot where he served as director of associate relations for the company’s northern division.

“Michael brings an appreciation for the uniqueness of the HoneyBaked brand, a passion for people and an absolute alignment with our core values,” said Chuck Bengochea, CEO of HoneyBaked. “With him, I am confident we have found a strong leader for our team member strategies and look forward to Michael’s contributions across the organization.”

A board member of the American Red Cross of Georgia, Esposito serves as co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee, is an active member of the community and understands the importance of volunteerism to build relationships and improve leadership skills. He earned his baccalaureate degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta and masters’ degrees from Kent State University and The Ohio State University. Esposito earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2008 and is a board member of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.

A native of East Rockaway, New York, Esposito moved to Atlanta in 2006 and now lives in Marietta with his wife Ann and their two children. He enjoys relaxing with his family, entertaining friends, weight lifting, cardio exercise, yoga, reading and helping people in transition.
