Miss LaLa's Birthday Bash

Come out to ARTS of Cobb on Friday for a night of family-friendly fun.

Lauren McBride, aka Miss LaLa, is celebrating her life-long artistic journey in her new ARTS of Cobb location in Historic Downtown Marietta.

Miss LaLa recently expanded to larger horizons with the Grand Opening of her new location across from the . Friday, Jan. 13, all are invited to share in the fun at the ARTS of Cobb Miss LaLa’s Birthday Bash! This free event will be a hit for all.

From 5 to 9 p.m. family-friendly fun will ensue with open drawing, play-n-stay clay, bubble wrap popping and fun with instruments and dancing. No need to bring anything but your energy and creativity.

Artists will be on the pottery wheel and mini-lessons will be available. All work from the mini-lessons stays at ARTS of Cobb, but full classes are available for you to enjoy where you can take home your finished masterpiece.

Come join in the fun and get your hands dirty. ARTS of Cobb instructor art galleries are hanging for all to enjoy or purchase.

From 9 until midnight, the event continues for all who are young at heart. Adult time (tweens/teens welcome) continues with many of the same activities, plus there will be characters in costume for artists to sketch, draw, sculpt or paint. BYOS (bring your own supplies if possible) or use our drawing supplies and BYOB (bring your own booze...yes, alcohol is okay) and enjoy snacks and drinks ala buffet style.

Try out your musical flair with a free-for-all acoustic jam session. BYOI (bring your own instrument) or use those available at ARTS of Cobb to create a symphony of sounds. Professional musicians will be joining in the fun.

If you can't make it this Friday, the ARTS of Cobb invites all to visit their open studio anytime. Adult and children music, theater and art classes begin next week!
