Falcons’ Abraham Arrested at Atlantic Station
For the second time in a week, a high-profile starter for the Atlanta Falcons has been arrested.
A week after running back Michael Turner was booked by Gwinnett County police on charges of DUI and speeding, defensive end John Abraham was arrested by Atlanta police on Monday night and charged with obstruction of police and obstruction of fire fighters during an incident at Atlantic Station.

Georgia Film and TV Productions Generated $3.1 Billion Last Year
The Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), announced Monday that Georgia productions generated an economic impact of $3.1 billion in the state during the 2012 fiscal year, a 29 percent increase from the previous year.
“The 2012 fiscal year saw record investment in the state by the entertainment industry, with more than $879.8 million in direct spending,” GDEcD Commissioner Chris Cummiskey said in a statement. “The film industry’s impact will have a lasting effect on Georgia’s economy for years to come.”

Lenox Square to Get a Facelift
Owners of the popular Lenox Square in Buckhead officially unveiled plans on Monday to renovate the interior and exterior of the mall.
Interior renovations will include an updated dining pavillion with new options, an outdoor patio and new ceiling treatments that allow more natural light. The mall’s Atrium Court will also be revamped.
The main Peachtree Road entrance will feature an iconic two-story glass storefront with a redesigned porte-cochere and enhanced valet services.
KSU to Break Ground on Museum
Kennesaw State University will break ground at 1 p.m. today on an art museum that school officials say will "serve as a cultural resource on contemporary art."
The 9,200-square-foot Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art, expected to open in fall 2013, will house the university's permanent art collection and include three exhibition galleries.
Police: Man Solicited Teen for Nude Photos
Police say a 23-year-old Dacula man used a social networking site to solicit nude photos from a 14-year-old.
On Aug. 10, Gwinnett County police received a tip from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation regarding a male MeetMe.com user who had reportedly attempted to obtain nude photographs from a juvenile user of the site.

Teen Busted for Using Mom's Credit Card
A Milton 13-year-old allegedly used his mother's Kindle and her credit card to spend more than $3,000 on Amazon.com in a 30-minute period on Sept. 18.
Milton police took him to a youth detention facility.
The juvenile said he left school early because he was sick. Once home, he copied his mother's credit card information after taking the card out of her purse. He then used her Kindle to make numerous purchases.

Pizza Man Pursues Robbery Suspects
When a Stone Mountain delivery man was robbed by the people who ordered pizza and chicken wings, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
He pursued the suspects to a middle school, even after one of them brandished a gun.
