New Seafood Restaurant Brings the Taste of the Gulf to Marietta

With the opening of their new restaurant Pier 213 Seafood on Wednesday, Feb. 13, the Marietta brother-sister team, Kevin and Kammie Sakprasit, is bringing the community fresh seafood from the Gulf’s waters.

Located just blocks from the historic Marietta Square at 35 S. Marietta Parkway, the fast and casual restaurant will serve lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday.

“We have a passion for seafood and are excited to provide our friends and neighbors a relaxed atmosphere where they can enjoy great tasting food made with five-star ingredients, without the five-star prices,” said Kammie Sakprasit.  

The menu focuses on "high-quality ingredients and freshly-caught seafood from the Gulf Coast, making the restaurant the ideal destination for seafood lovers."

“We take the mystery out of seafood,” added Kevin Sakprasit. “We prefer to use products from the Gulf Coast because we’ve found the taste profile to be superior as a result of the nutrient-rich environment. You can really taste the gulf-to-plate freshness.”

Guests can place their orders at the counter for a variety of fried, grilled and steamed plates, as well as po’ boys and sandwiches ($6.99-$15.99). The menu features a wide range of shareable appetizers, sides and homemade desserts.

Signature items include a crab cake dish made with plump crab meat, richly seasoned and pan-fried to perfection. In addition to their menu, Pier 213 frequently offers shrimp, crab and crawfish low-country boils on a seasonal basis.

The family-friendly restaurant also has a special menu for children.

Inside the nautical-themed 3,200-square-foot dining area, the restaurant seats up to 80 guests. The patio can seat up to 16 diners.
