Cobb County Home Builder Recognized for Design Excellence at 33rd Annual OBIE Awards

Traton Homes’ dedication to quality home construction and exceptional customer service has made it one of the top home builders in Atlanta for more than 40 years. On Saturday, Nov 2, 2013, Traton Homes was honored for its dedication to the Atlanta home building industry with three Gold OBIE Awards and one Silver OBIE Award. The 33rd Annual OBIE Awards, hosted by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, recognized excellence in more than 100 categories in remodeling, building, marketing and personal achievement. 

“This year’s OBIE Awards celebrated the successes of industry professionals, as well as the recovery of the real estate market that continues to grow stronger,” said Kimberly Garwood, director of marketing at Traton Homes. “2013 has been an outstanding year, and winning these OBIE Awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Traton Homes team.” 

Traton Homes’ three Gold OBIE Awards included:

·         Rockford Township– Single Family Builder – Detached (50+Homes/Year) $350,000 to $424,999

·         Leisure Ridge – Single Family Builder – Detached (All Builders) $800,000 to $899,999

·         Best Magazine Ad - Full Page and Over 

The metro Atlanta home builder also won a Silver OBIE Award in the Best Interior Merchandising – Detached Model $550,000 to $749,999 category for its beautiful model home at The Estates at Davis Ridge. 

In addition to these four OBIE Awards, Traton’s “Where will we spring up next?” campaign, created and designed by mRELEVANCE, LLC won two OBIE Awards including a Gold for Best Social Media Campaign and Silver for Best Email Marketing Message. The campaign was designed around the announcement of Traton Homes’ newest community, Lafayette Square, in May 2013. 

“The campaign featured an interactive landing page that encouraged Facebook page visitors to guess the location of Traton Homes’ next metro Atlanta community,’” said Garwood. “Additionally, the campaign increased our ‘Likes’ on Facebook, included lead capture and increased traffic to our website, Facebook and various other social media sites.”
