Dick Naylor Joins Sterling Risk Advisors as Principal

Dick Naylor has joined Sterling Risk Advisors (www.sterlingriskadvisors.com) as a Principal.  Naylor brings to the firm more than 40 years of expertise in the surety bond business.  In his role at Sterling Risk Advisors, he will continue to focus primarily on the construction industry, providing solutions and consulting services as a client advocate.

Previously, he was with the Graham-Naylor Agency, which merged with Sterling Risk Advisors in September 2013.  He co-founded the agency in 1975 and built a successful and respected independent insurance and surety bonding agency with locations in Marietta and Columbus, Georgia.

While with the Graham-Naylor Agency, Naylor arranged bonding on more than $2 billion of public infrastructure projects in Atlanta and throughout Georgia, ranging from the Savannah Riverfront to Kings Bay Naval Base, MARTA, Atlanta’s Downtown Freeway Widening, and Atlanta’s Sewer Separation, as well many bonds for roads, bridges, utility lines, treatment plants, public buildings and private development.

His insurance industry involvement includes:

  • Associated Builders and Contractors
  • Georgia Highway Contractors Association
  • Georgia Utility Contractors Association

Naylor attended the University of Georgia. He is active in the community as a member of the Buckhead Optimists and as a Boy Scout leader at St. James United Methodist Church.
