(Atlanta — May 28, 2014) – Manon Brochu, Gas South’s vice president and general manager of mass markets, will join the advisory board for the Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command, the company announced today.
In her new role on the board, Brochu will advise the organization on community matters and will be heavily involved with the Salvation Army’s Project SHARE initiative.
“We are proud of Manon’s appointment to such an exemplary board dedicated to the betterment of our community,” said Kevin Greiner, president and CEO at Gas South. “Her tenacity, dedication, and commitment to this community will prove to be true assets to the Salvation Army’s cause.”

Gas South customers can donate money on their monthly natural gas bills to contribute to Project SHARE and Gas South will match each donation up to $10 per month.
“I’m delighted to welcome Manon to our board," said Tasia Katapodis, advisory board chairwoman for the Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command. “We have worked with Gas South in the past through community partnerships, and are pleased that the company is extending its outreach through Manon. Her experience and leadership in business development is an important addition to our team.”
The Salvation Army provides assistance each year through a range of social services.
