Marietta resident joins expanding bank

Scarlett Tassone adept at shepherding clients through the sometimes-confusing mortgage process

Private Mortgage Solutions has named Scarlett Tassone Vice President and Mortgage Banker. She has held various positions in both the wholesale and retail divisions of the mortgage industry.

Tassone is a native of Atlanta and, yes, she is named after Scarlett O’Hara, the protagonist in Gone with the Wind. She attended Georgia Southern University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Realizing that she needed sales experience, Tassone entered the mortgage business and is still going strong. Having worked on both sides of the industry, her extensive knowledge makes her an ideal person to guide clients through every step of the sometimes-confusing mortgage process.

“One of the most valuable business lessons I have learned is to lead by example,” she says, “while working as a cohesive unit. In this or any other business, you have to rely on others to accomplish a goal, working together is the key to achieving that goal.” Prior to joining Private Mortgage Solutions, Scarlett was a mortgage consultant with BrightPath Mortgage and an Inside Account Liaison with Wilmington Finance, Inc. 

Tassone lives a very active lifestyle and enjoys traveling, playing softball and spending time with her family and pets. She also gives back to her community by raising money for Wish for Wendy Organization, and sponsors a family each Thanksgiving and Christmas for Hapeville Elementary. She resides in Marietta with her husband, two children, four dogs and two cats. As a country music lover, she is a huge Kenny Chesney fan and also enjoys rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
