Marietta resident joins rapidly growing mortgage company

Eric Simpson couples experiences as a combat medic and elementary school teacher with mortgage industry expertise

Private Mortgage Solutions has named Eric Simpson to its operations team. He brings a wealth of mortgage operations experience to the organization.

“As an operations professional, Eric is organized and adept at learning new systems, integrating them into other programs, putting processes into place, explaining them and assisting others in becoming proficient,” says Dan Smith, President of Private Mortgage Solutions.

Simpson earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Education and his Master’s of Education and Reading from Bowling Green State University. He also served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne. Before becoming involved in the mortgage industry, Simpson went from Airborne Infantry to Combat Medic to Elementary School teacher.

“I am focused on doing what is right the first time and not wasting time and effort blaming others or making excuses,” Simpson says. “I try to find the positive or bright side of every situation. Both of those tactics help ensure our clients have a smooth mortgage experience.”

Originally from Ohio, he resides in Marietta with his wife, two daughters and son. In his spare time he volunteers at the stables where his daughters ride horses and plays recreational ice hockey with his son. One of Simpson’s lifelong goals has been to swim with Great White Sharks.
