Matt Sargent Joins Marietta-based eVestment as Corporate Sales Specialist
Matt Sargent has joined Marietta-based eVestment, a leading provider of institutional investment data and analytics, as a corporate sales specialist. In this position he will be responsible for focusing on relationship development within eVestment’s allocator and institutional clients, including investment consultants, family offices, corporate/public pensions, endowments, wealth management advisors and fund of funds in the United States.
Prior to joining eVestment, Sargent worked as a sales associate for Global Tax Services, a financial services company in New York City, where he focused on business development for hedge funds, endowments, pensions and broker dealers. He has also worked as an analyst at the Georgia Tech Endowment Student Investment Committee, as an operations engineer and as an entrepreneur within a start-up companies.
Sargent holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial and systems engineering with a concentration in finance and economic systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
eVestment, plans to hire 80 to 100 people during 2014 to help support and propel the company’s growth. The company is looking to fill positions primarily in sales, client service, product strategy and software development.
