Chatt Tech Extends Admissions Deadline for Prospective Students

More than 1,200 new students have already registered for classes, which are scheduled to begin August 19.

Chattahoochee Technical College is extending the deadline for prospective students.

The new document deadline has been extended to July 31, at 6 p.m. for new and transferring students to have documents submitted for admission for Fall Semester.

“The extension gives everyone approximately eight extra business days to get their applications, test scores, transcripts and other items in our hands,” Executive Director of Admissions Missy Cusack said in a press release.

“We understand that some prospective students might need this extra time to gather those transcripts or other documents.”

More than 1,200 new students have already registered for classes, which are scheduled to begin August 19. Chattahoochee Technical College offers more than 45 programs of study (or majors). A student can study full time to earn a certificate (approximately 9-12 months to complete), a diploma (approximately 1.5 years to complete) or an Associate of Applied Science degree (2 to 2.5 years to complete).

“With a growing list of articulation agreements with other colleges and universities, prospective students are able to continue their education,” said Cusack. “Students are finding Chattahoochee Technical College an affordable and accessible way to start their college careers with more than 40 classes in general education and other areas that transfer seamlessly to local colleges and universities."
