Fountain Springs to Life Today

Water will flow once again from the newly renovated Glover Park fountain at noon today. This tops The 5 Things.

1.  After a month of restoration, the Marietta Fountain to Glover Park. Today, the city finishes cleaning the fountain so that it can spring to life again at noon today. Look for Marietta Patch!

3.     The convenes today at the Cobb Galleria Centre. This event brings together the largest gathering of top level executives and academics to celebrate the state’s global leadership in technology innovation. 4.     The meets today at , 492 N. Marietta Parkway. Lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. and the meeting portion begins at noon. The meeting will feature a representative from Georgia Interfaith Power and Light who will share information about Power Wise, a low-cost, energy audit program available for congregations throughout Georgia. Power Wise help congregations save money through energy efficiency.

5. Today is Kick Butts Day. No, it's not a day for revenge, but an anti-smoking day. For example, at today, a student will dress as the Grim Reaper followed by students with anti-smoking signs, and walk through the cafeteria inviting other students to join the silent procession. Students will receive a totem representing their pledge to not use tobacco.
