Getting Out in Marietta over Memorial Day Weekend

When/Where: Monday, noon. Marietta National Cemetery, 500 Washington Ave, Marietta.
Why go: National Memorial Day Association of Georgia and The Avenue of Flags, Inc. present their 63rd annual ceremony. Guest speaker is Major General Raymond V. Mason, current Deputy Chief of Staff, US Army, Fort McPherson. Mason's past assingments include speechwriter.

4. We Will Never Forget - patriotic concert
When/Where: Sunday, 6 p.m. Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, Sancturary, 4385 Lower Roswell Road.
Why go: Full orchestra, choral groups, spoken word, special guests pay tribute to our veterans and first responders. Program followed by ice cream social.
Price: Free. Nursery available, must register.
Where/When: Sunday, noon - 5 p.m. Atlanta History Center, 130 West Paces Road, Atlanta.
Why go: Interact with both veterans and living history interpreters representing the branches of US Armed Forces, sing along with live group, Vintage Vocals, and look at wartime memorabilia.
Price: Free with general admission. $16.50 for adults, $13 for seniors 65+ and students 13 and up, $11 for youths 4 to 12. Free for Members and children under 4.
