Theatre in the Square Debuts '39 Steps'

1. Marietta's acclaimed Theatre in the Square debuts "39 Steps" at 8 p.m. tonight. Adapted from John Buchan’s 1915 book and Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film, this incredibly fast-paced spy yarn has four characters playing multiple roles backed up by some tremendously clever staging, lighting and special effects. The tour begins at 7 p.m. and conveniently starts at the Marietta Wine Market and includes one glass of wine while you listen to some of the area's ghost stories. The tour continues into the Square for a one-hour walking ghost tour.
