With this coming weekend calling for a chance of rain, here are some indoor activities for the family:
1. The Sleeping Beauty

2.Mother and Daughter Fitness Day

More than 1,500 mothers and daughters are expected to participate in this health and wellness fundraising event that will offer intergenerational bonding experience between mothers, daughters and grandmothers.
This event features simple ways that a family fitness plan combines fun games and physical activities with nutritious eating tips to encourage a partnership and commitment toward healthy living. Proceeds will benefit Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta Sporting Chance® and Friendly PEERsuasion® programs.
3. Atlanta Parent Magazine’s Camp Expo

4. The Wren's Nest

Time: The Wren's Nest is open from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with storytelling every Saturday at 1 p.m. The house is closed Sunday and Monday.

The Wren's Nest is the nonprofit home of Joel Chandler Harris, Uncle Remus, and Brer Rabbit. Harris lived in this Queen Anne Victorian from 1881 to 1908 and penned many of the Brer rabbit tales on the front porch.
5. The Next Generation: Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus

Now in its fifth season, the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus presents three concerts throughout the year. Each concert day consists of three separate events in which audiences can see all the program has to offer–from the GYSO&C Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, two choruses, two string orchestras, two wind ensembles and two full orchestras!
