Clansy the Golden Retriever Is Looking For A Home

Looking for a new best friend? Then, look no further! We have the perfect furry companion for you!

(Article contributed by Karen Dunkley, Angels Publications)

So how does a perfectly beautiful Golden Retriever wind up at animal control? Good question. One of the most wonderful breeds there is, just sitting there just waiting for the end. And then an Angel came to save him, and he is now our "Clansy".

Angels Among Us took him to the vet for care and got him into a loving foster home. He is only 1-2 years old and neutered - still a pup but already house and crate trained!  Our Clansy is pretty close to perfect!  He adores people, kids, and other dogs, and anyone who would like to have a happy, enthusiastic playmate.  He needs a bit more practice walking on a leash - like any young pup, he is full of energy and life.  He does not care for cats (or perhaps he cares too much!), so no kitties for this sweet boy!  A fenced-in yard would be fantastic for this big sweetheart to play in.  Clansy loves to play fetch, run, and then place his big fluffy head in your lap for love. Now, that is sweet!

Just look to the dictionary for this description of a Golden Retriever and you’ll see what I mean: Temperament-reliable, friendly, kind, confident, trustworthy, intelligent. Hmmm....sounds about as perfect as anyone could want!  Just like our Clansy.  What do you think?  Does Clansy sound like the perfect dog for your family?  Apply today at http://www.angelsrescue.org and you’ll be "golden" for years to come!
