Atlanta Lyric Open Call Auditions for 'Annie'

Atlanta Lyric
Theatre will be holding open auditions for children ages 7-15 for the Broadway
musical “Annie” Saturday, October 5 from 12-4 PM at The Murray Arts Center. Auditioners
are asked to bring a current headshot, resume and sheet music. In addition,
those auditioning should prepare sixteen bars from any standard or music
theatre selection. An accompanist will be provided. A dance audition may be
requested as well.



 Director
Ricardo Aponte, choreographer Jennifer Smiles Plumley and music director Bill
Newberry are seeking children to play to roles of Annie, Molly, Pepper, Kate,
Duffy, Tessie and July. All child actors should be able to sing, dance and act
equally well.  



 The Lyric’s
production of “Annie” plays April 4-20, 2014, at the Anderson Theatre at the Cobb Civic
Center with rehearsals
