Fall Book Sale - Cobb County Public Library System

The Cobb County Public Library System’s next semi-annual book sale will be held October 11-13 at the Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta. One of North Georgia’s largest and most popular library book sales, the sale includes novels, non-fiction books, home and garden books, parenting resources, cookbooks and more.

About 175,000 items will be available at prices ranging from 10 cents to $5. Donated items for the book sale include soft-cover and hard-back books, magazines, text books, DVD and VHS movies, and children’s books. Parking is free at the event, and cash and check are accepted.

The Cobb County Public Library System holds two large book sales each year and one smaller book sale that features comic books, antique books, and other “special” kinds of books. These book sales attract thousands of book-lovers each year and people are encouraged to shop the sales in support of the library system. Last year, the book sales generated more than $80,000, which enabled the library staff to purchase new materials, including books, eBooks, and DVDs.
