Pet parents looking for a conveniently located, trustworthy and authentic shopping experience where their pet’s needs always come first, can now find it at Marietta’s new Unleashed by Petco located at 2900 Delk Road Extension.

The pet specialty store, which begins its grand opening celebration Saturday, March 15, 2014 through the next three following weekends, provides a neighborhood feel with knowledgeable associates, all in an intimate and playful environment. The Marietta Unleashed by Petco will host several community gatherings throughout the year such as adoption events aiming to unite the areas shelter pets with forever homes, Pug-a-Palooza, local dog meet-ups and other fun contests and social gatherings for people and pets alike.

The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, with a ribbon cutting ceremony where the local adoption group, Mutt Madness, and local service dog group, Military Working Dog Team Support Association, Inc., will each be presented with a $1,500 donation. Through this donation, Unleashed by Petco hopes to help Mutt Madness find homes for local pets in need and help Military Working Dog Team Support Association, Inc. continue their great work in the community.
