Opening Reception for "Flight and Fancy" by John Westmark

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th (5-9pm).  2 Rules Fine Art holds opening reception for "Flight and Fancy," a solo art exhibit by John Westmark. This exhibition presents a dichotomy between male and female stereotypes. Sewing, personal garment making, and the female figure are compared and contrasted with engineering schematics and aircraft. The primary materials used in these paintings are store-bought paper sewing patterns applied directly to the canvas.
