Preview Party: 25th annual American Craft Council Show

Meet more than 225 American Craft Council participating artists and get the chance to purchase their works ahead of the crowds at the Preview Party for the for the 25th annual American Craft Council Show! Jointly benefitting Georgia’s Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences and the American Craft Council, this exclusive event is also a first look at two exciting new onsite show exhibitions.

Join co-chairs Lucinda Bunnen, Marianne Lambert, Liz Lapidus, Cathy Woolard and Karen Geney and Honorary Design Chair William Peace to kick off the beginning of the spring arts benefit. The Preview Party welcomes guests to enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment while browsing and shopping the Craft Council Show the evening before it opens.

Following last year’s successful presentation of craft in context, “Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft,” this year’s theme is “Let’s Entertain.” Ten Atlanta area designers have partnered with artists to create gorgeous, craft-inspired room vignettes showcasing objects ideally suited for entertaining. Launching this year is the American Craft Charm Collection, an exclusive handmade assortment of charms, charm bracelets, cluster pendants and pins designed by talented American Craft Council jewelry artists. Also new this year, party and show-goers will enjoy a Scotch whisky tasting presented by The Balvenie, the world’s most handcrafted single malt Scotch whisky. Tastings will take place in a space artfully created by Atlanta’s award-winning Peace Design.
