Santa Fun Run For Charity December 1

It’s time to get into the ho-ho-holiday spirit! To celebrate the season of giving, Variety of Georgia – The Children’s Charity invites families and friends to be a ‘Claus For A Cause’ and participate in the Santa Fun Run 5K on Sunday, December 1 at Barrett Summit Office Park. The 5K event, which is an international fundraising race hosted by Variety’s philanthropic chapters across the world, raises money to enrich, improve and fulfill the lives of children living with disabilities and disadvantages. Runners of all levels can suit up as Santa to help Variety of Georgia give the gift of mobility this season, providing disabled children with educational programs and special equipment needed to overcome the obstacles they face.

To kickoff the fundraising race, Variety of Georgia will present three mobility bikes to families in need in honor of International Day of Disabilities on December 3. Whether runners wish to walk, sprint or skip through the 5K, the Santa Fun Run helps to give children the freedom and independence to experience and explore life. Registration is limited to 500 runners, so claim a jolly spot, support a wonderful cause and spread some holiday cheer!
