Memorable Style for A Day of Honor: Simply Salute Our Veterans

In the public eye, today we honor our service members for simply their service.  We hold to high esteem what they have given of themselves and their families. Today is also a day of celebration of our veterans and active duty members, and so, it is for this day, we dress in American Pride. Today we simply are styled in American pride. Wear it proud,  and wear it to speak out loud, "we thank you for all you have given and continue to give."

Veterans will have on their ribbons, active duty will be in their dress uniforms for ceremonies and parades.  Communities will come out and cheer and wave.  We will remember those also who have paid the highest price and honor them with flag covered cemeteries.

From youth to senior citizens, all have touched a veteran. For some the loss of a family member, schoolmate, faith family, or community at large. For others, the casualty of war returns home and is burdened with injuries seen and unseen to be weathered by families for a lifetime.  We pause also to share and care in the remembrance of our fallen, with their families, we are thankful for their ultimate gift.  We also look to be a continual resource to our wounded warriors and families, we are safe because of them...the least that can be done.

Last week on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos"  it was reported "no loss of American military"  what an awesome sound to hear.  We are thankful.

Yes thankful and so, we now stop and honor those that have served and are serving today. Whether active duty, National Guard or Reserves, we take the time to thank you, our men and women, for your impeccable style of protection and service that is unrivaled around the world.  American Heroes, We Salute You!

The style of the day; American Pride Stride & S-aa-l-ute!
