CFR, Cobb Kiwanis Groups Collect Over 400 Peanut Butter Jars

As of Nov. 22, over 400 jars of peanut butter were collected in a collaborative effort between Kiwanis groups throughout Cobb County.

For two weeks preceding Thanksgiving, Kiwanians throughout Cobb County have staged food drives and accepted monetary donations to ensure families in need will be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

Local Kiwanians, and other members of the community, are asked to provide as many peanut butter jars as possible toward this endeavor along with other canned or packaged food items.

All proceeds will directly benefit the Center for Family Resources (CFR) annual “Thanks for Giving” drive and help provide meals for over 1,400 Cobb County residents.
