The Friends of the Cobb County Public Library System semi-annual book sale will be held, March 4-5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 6 from 1-5 p.m. at the Jim R. Miller Park on 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.
Donated items for the book sale include soft-cover and hard-back books, magazines, text books, DVD and VHS movies, and children’s books. Prices range from 10 cents to $2. Last year, the book sales generated more than $50,000 which enabled the library staff to purchase new books, CDs and DVDs.
The March book sale attracts thousands of book-lovers to the event and is the first of two sales held yearly.
