Marietta Square Holiday Open House

This annual tradition kicks off the Holiday shopping season at the Square. Extended shopping hours continue every Friday evening through Dec. 20.

Merchants of Historic Downtown Marietta are preparing for their annual Holiday Open House which will take place this year on Nov. 8 from 6-9pm. 

This annual tradition kicks off the Holiday shopping season at the Square. Extended shopping hours continue every Friday evening until 8 p.m. through Dec. 20. Marietta’s unique local shops offer a wide selection of gift ideas from vintage sound systems to original fine art, and everything in between.

“We look forward to Holiday Open House and the Candlelight Shopping evenings every year. We enjoy spoiling our customers with Holiday treats. This year a lucky shopper will win a gift basket," Vintage-ology owner Karen Petelik said.

The Marietta Wine Market will host a wine tasting with light hors d'oeuvres on that evening and will offer featured sale items to kick off the holiday season.

Antiques on the Square will have a special package deal available for the Open House that will include an Audio Technica LP60 Turntable; Dayton Audio B652 Bookshelf Speakers and Dayton Audio DTA-1 Desktop Amplifier.

In addition to their fudge, chocolates and nostalgia candies, Ye Olde Christmas & Candy Shoppe will feature Department 56 Villages, Byer's Choice Carolers and Gingerbread Houses along with Christopher Radko ornaments for sale.

The Vineyard Gift Shop will host raffles throughout the evening and provide a free gift with every purchase. They will offer tasty bites to shoppers during the Open House.

A live band and tasty treats are on tap for a festive evening at the Hair Art Day Spa. 

High Cottage will have Ron Ransom wooden Santa sculptures. Ransom is a local wood carver with over 25 years of experience carving Santas.
