What a Home Stager May Say to you During a Consultation

My goal is to stage your house and help you make more money. The real estate market has changed and the way you sell your house has changed too.  We have to go through drastic measures to make sure your house sells quickly and sells for a good price.  Please do not take any of my staging suggestions personally.  My intent is to turn your home into a product so it will sell faster.  A staged house looks better than the other homes and it really helps it to sell quicker. 

You have a beautiful home and I know you have worked hard to create this look.  We need to make your house stand out not your décor.  I plan to try to use as much of your furnishings as possible to stage your house.  I plan to make it look even better than it does right now.  The way you live in your home and the way you sell your home are two different things.

I would love for you to walk with me through your house so I can give you staging ideas one room at a time. We will also walk outside and I will give you suggestions for your “street curb appeal” too.  I would like to take before and after pictures of each room so you will be able to see the transformation that staging your house has made.  I will be writing all of these suggestions down on paper and then I am going to email the staging needs to you.
