COBB GROUPS DELIVER LETTER TO COMMISSION OFFICES

In the public eye, Concerned Citizens of Cobb for Governmental Transparency CGT, convened a press conference this morning, November 25th at 10:30a.m. Cobb County Commission offices, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta, GA, to formally address the diverse groups stand on the Braves Stadium vote slated for Tuesday, November 26, by Cobb Commissioners.

The Cobb press conference will move to a joint press conference with more advocate support groups and citizens at 3:30 p.m. Monday, November 25th, at the Mountain View Regional Library, 330 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta to precede Commissioner Joann Birrell's town hall 4:30 p.m. meeting.

Subsequent town halls by Commissioners Cupid and Ott, at 7p.m. in their districts presents a last-ditch effort to seemingly take it “to the people” prior to the 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 26th stadium vote.

Community advocacy and activist organizations join Cobb concerned citizens to stand up against constituent bullying tactics of secrecy, disregard of public input for a speedy braves stadium vote.  The group is bringing to the forefront, a need for electorate respect by asking for a 60 day vote delay.

The public is encouraged to attend and add your voice.  Rich Pellegrino 404.573.1199
