Mochas, Lattes, Cappuccinos, Coffee: What Marietta Cafe Gets Your Business?

Tell us what is your drink of choice and where you start your mornings in Marietta.

I love coffee, understatement. I'm sure if I added up how much money I spend a year on coffee I would be horrified, so let's not go there.

Here are the main stops for my morning beverages. Take a look and tell us where you go for your coffee.

1.  I wish I got to go to Canvas more often. When it comes to their vanilla latte, it's the perfect amounts of espresso and vanilla, leaving you with a satisfying start to the morning that's not too bitter and not too sweet. .

2.  I love Cool Beans' chai tea, but their vanilla lattes seem to come out under mixed. A sip of espresso (a bitter experience) followed by a sip of vanilla (too sweet). So if you're on the go take a moment to mix before you leave the coffee shop. As for the chai tea, it's an explosion of taste.

3. : I always feel like they add extra vanilla to cover up a bitter taste with their vanilla lattes. Their drinks always seem to come out a little on the hot side, but that could just be me. If you leave the lid off for five minutes, it's not too bad.

The chai steamers are great here, but my favorite Starbucks' beverage is probably the caramel macchiato. You can distinctly taste each ingredient without any of them overpowering the others. Espresso, steamed milk and vanilla syrup topped with a layer of creamy foam and drizzled with caramel—that's a good start to my day.
